Description
Predominantly gabbroic plutons and small bodies of diorite and quartz diorite intruding the pre-Jurassic metasedimentary basement rocks (Storey, 1983)1. The percentage volume of mafic dykes increases from 25 - 80% from east to west across the DFC’s outcrop. Age of mafic plutons is poorly constrained.
